Cerda CONTINUes Graduate Programme

As part of Cerda Planning’s ongoing commitment to staff development, business improvements and active participation in professional and educational activities, we are delighted to continue our commitment to our graduate scheme.

The scheme has been running for several years now and has been a great success. This year Will Whiting is gaining valuable experience alongside his Masters studies; following in the footsteps of Helen and Alec who are flourishing into able, competent planning professionals.

The scheme invests both in the future of Cerda Planning and the wider Young Planners Initiative which is going from strength to strength. We have derived a programme for our graduates that strives to achieve excellence, experience and enthusiasm for planning which includes work placement opportunities with our clients and regular 360 degree reviews.

The structured programme that has been put in place sees the graduates rotate around different areas of the business to experience all elements of planning practice and to critically review our approaches to ensure the professional team benefits from a fresh perspective.

Cerda’s personal and non-corporate approach allows the graduates to be fully involved through the inception, management and delivery of a project.

“As a graduate, what attracted me to Cerda was the approachability of the team, the commitment offered to a training programme, and the wide range of projects I was able to get involved in. It was apparent that the team were inclusive and passionate about planning and the positive difference it can make.”
