Cerda Planning is delighted to announce that thanks to some very hard work from the team, and in particular Richard West, the community engagement exercise for a new development by Glenalmond has been hugely successful.

The website offered local residents and stakeholders the opportunity to view the planning project from the comfort of their own home and give their  feedback through an easy-to-use online survey.  The response rate was high, with 78% of respondents acknowledging the need for development with the proposal site being favoured by many.

Cerda is always keen to remain a progressive planning company and the development of these websites highlights our focus on sourcing new strategic and innovative methods to facilitate better planning for clients and those residents who may want to raise observations in relation to a project.

The Desford website will be online for several months, showcasing the draft proposals by Glenalmond Developments Ltd for an outline planning application for up to 80 homes.

“As the newest planner at Cerda, I’m delighted that the community engagement project for Peckleton Lane Desford has been successful.  We believe that offering local residents the chance to view the proposals in this fashion is extremely helpful when preparing the final application.”
