Alison Clack has obtained reserved matters approval for 135 new houses for Taylor Wimpey Midlands and 135 new houses for Spitfire Homes at Arden Heath in Stratford-upon-Avon. This fantastic result was delivered as a unanimous approval by members of the Planning Committee.
The Outline planning permission was granted at appeal in December 2015, following a recommendation of a grant of planning permission by officers but an overturn by the Planning Committee, set the scene for an uphill struggle to get Members supportive for the reserved matters.
Alison set out to the clients a detailed strategy comprising significant community engagement to ensure a positive outcome. Prior to, and during the course of, the application, pro-active engagement was undertaken with Local Ward Members, a residents’ working group and District and County officers. This inclusive and positive approach achieved a first-class design.
Cerda are extremely proud of Alison’s achievements and are very much looking forward to seeing the site being built out.
