• Located in an unallocated edge of settlement location, Cerda appraised the site’s potential for future development in the emerging plan and formed a promotion strategy.
• Following delays to the plan, an alternate planning strategy was prepared to utilise the Council’s anticipated lack of housing land supply
• The initial outline planning application was refused but on appeal, following a public inquiry with Cerda acting as expert planning witness, the appeal was approved and permission granted
• Subsequently, Cerda were appointed by Owl Homes to submit and secure reserved matters approval.
• Permission was secured for 84 dwellings.
